Village Club Card Room Named Finalist for Best Local Casino in San Diego

CHULA VISTA, CALIF. (July 5, 2011) – The Village Club Card Room, one of four card rooms in San Diego County, was recently named a top ten finalist in Sign on San Diego’s 2011 poll for “Best Local Casino.” For the second consecutive year, the Village Club was nominated in this category along with nine other large, local Indian gaming casinos including Barona Resort and Casino, Sycuan Casino and Viejas Casino. Sign On San Diego account users were encouraged to vote online for all of their favorite categories in San Diego from June 3rd through June 27th. Voting categories included “Best” Auto, Bars & Nightlife, Entertainment, Finance, Food & Restaurants, For the Home, Healthy Living, Home Improvement, Real Estate, San Diego Life, Shopping & Services, as well as Sports & Recreation. The Entertainment category was comprised of several subcategories including Best Local Casino, Loosest Slots and many others. Winners for the annual San Diego poll will be announced on August 27th.
